Our Rubber Hoof Block is made from recycled rubber and has a great shock absorbing feature. Our rubber block was designed to wear away after 5 to 6 weeks under normal wear and tear. NOTE: We highly recommend heating both the hoof and the rubber block before adding glue. Lauren AgriSystems currently does not sell glue but recommends both Moo Gloo II and Bovi Bond on our blocks.

Our Plastic Hoof Block is made from a tough long lasting plastic that has a skid resistant design. The patented curved toe allows the cow to continue her normal gate while wearing the block/ and a patent on the recycled rubber and has a great shock absorbing feature. The plastic block is designed for that chronic cow that just can’t seem to heal in the time a regular rubber or wood block wears out. The plastic block has a bright color for visibility in case the block fall off in the barn, as it is not meant to go through a manure system. Glued properly, most cows will have to be brought back in to have the block removed. Lauren AgriSystems does not currently sell glue but recommends both Moo Gloo II and Bovi Bond on our blocks.
